These are pretty trash gears from Traxxas, I stripped the original set, I stripped a new set again the same summer. But I haven't been able to find and aftermarket option so I guess the only way to get a better fitting mesh and less differential housing flex allowing these gears to wear out faster would be to upgrade to an aluminum diff housing and rear axle. Which is unfortunate because those are very expensive. I'll play around with different grease maybe.
