So true we buy theses just for fixing it. I think why traxxes makes such a dissolving rc vehicles. But yet we buy them. Just to tinker yes these are Metal diffs but guess what I get and metal drive shafts and you will bend the cup on the end of the diff. Or diff will break a tooth and it will click. Same circle. I have a kyosho buggy new and old truggy I take them out and smash them constantly and guess what nothing ever breaks so I don’t have to buy a single thing for them. Idk it is what it is. I guess we are just looking for something to fix in the blood I guess 😂

So far this upgrade has been great! I have gone through 3 plastic rear diffs, and this seems to be the fix. The only thing missing is the sleeves that go on the end next to where the axle is inserted, but I just used the old ones and they seem to work great!
