Since I got a larger desk, I now keep my Switch there to play sometimes instead of on our larger TV so I needed a new dock for it and found this which is perfect since the dock itself takes up only the space of a wall wart!It works great, looks nice with the switch colors, and does what I need it to do which is get my Switch onto one of my monitors or to my capture card. It outputs as best a signal as the Switch can put out and doesn't appear to have any quirks some 3rd party docks (meaning those that actually hold the Switch up) where the Switch doesn't quite seat perfectly on the USB-C pins so that the image or sound is weird, however, with this, since it's just a C to C cable if I even have trouble with it, I can just replace it instead of the whole dock!Overall, it works exactly as I need it to without taking up valuable space on my desk!

I ordered this Nintendo Switch docking station from TreasLin because I wanted to be able to carry my Switch and accessories on a family vacation without having to carry the larger docking station that I have hooked up to the my television at home. This docking station is easy to use, and it works pretty simply. You simply use the USB-C cord that was provided with the docking station and insert that into the Switch. Then you need to provide a power cord for the other USB slot and an HDMI cord that you plug into the television/monitor. The Switch should work as expected once all three cords are plugged in.This replacement dock worked for me. It doesn't come with the USB power cord or the HDMI cord, but everyone these days has spares laying around the house given how much technology is in each of our homes. They market this as a "replacement dock," but for me it's going to be a traveling dock station.

With a normal dock for NS switch, you will need to put your switch on some of support dock and connecting a USBC cable to a square block called adapter of the same size of this product plus a hdmi cable usually to the TV or monitor.I am using this behind my tv, ziptied my switch holder, or just my swich to the arm of the TV, and then plug the dock or adapter to the power, and a cable to TV anyway. Successfully reduced amount of square box from 2 to 1, and of course the outcome is the same.if I'd have to bring an adapter it has to be PD3 support 15V, yes, switch is running out of 15V of that usbC. Normal small size USBC will only run 9V as they are for fast charger for google pixel phone or sumsung.My OEM adapter was chewed by my bunny on the other day, and the docking station was also damaged maybe due to the spark when the cable was cut off. Something like this is extremely nice I would say NS should have thought this and have it packed with switch!It works both original and OLED version of switch. I have both.

Bought this so that I could leave the OEM switch dock hooked up in the living room while I stream. It worked perfectly on first use. I bought this one because other options could not display good resolutions like this one.

No more taking the big ol' dock around for us.It is a true all in one. It charges, connects the switch to the TV and gives you a USB port in one tiny plug.Plug into wall, take USB and plug into switch, plug in HDMI and boom. Docked mode switch. Only downside is, you need to make sure your cords are long enough to reach what you need. If you have that, your golden and you won't look back. Ever.
