Tree Trunk Protectors - 8 Piece - $13.99 atorI love these. They are way better than the white tubes that snap around the trees. These work for any size tree. You can just buy another pack if 8 isn't enough.They snap together and the pressure of wanting to straighten out keeps them together. I twisty tied a few just to be safe in the wind, but it may not have been necessary.Lightweight and awesome!

These tree trunk protectors are versatile! We will use them on new tree next year (as it's battened up for winter now is a different way). But we are using these great plant protectors on our perennials -- as the deer and the bunny -- decided to nibble on most of our native plants!If you have a taller plant, you can stack them, too. (Same for a tree trunk -- stacking would obviously be the way to go.)The nice green color makes these 'stay in the background' from a visual stand point.They stay put. If a storm is coming (or snow), you can put one or two landscaping spikes/stakes in the bottom (which is what we did).The slots/vents allow the sun and air to circulate through to your plant, but still keep the deer away.If your plant gets higher than the height, you can double up (stack them), or put an ornament in there, like our butterfly, to deter the deer.These are versatile for all things garden!
