Excellent little stopper. Have two of them now. I like that the screws are counterbored to sit flush.

Worked as designed. Easy install on my PRS Se Custom. I PRS doesn't offer a 24 fret in a hard tail, but I play in D standard and go to drop C with the band sometimes. Can't do that with a trem system very easily. So I used this and blocked the back side of it with wood shims. Stable as hell now.

Easy to install and adjust, seems to be fairly well made. I've used many of the actual floyd rose brand stoppers and these are both cheaper and better quality.

Install in the center with 2 springs on either side and you can do double stop bends without de-tuning, while you can still use vibrato and also rest your hand on the bridge while playing. Two-way vibratos without any locking mechanisms were always a silly idea, but I think having this metal contact point increases resonance more so than if my guitar were already built for dive-only (as a Fender is). To dampen the noise of contact, you can put a piece of gaffer tape on the block. To silence the spring reverb, a piece of foam or finishing pad over the springs with the cover on works. There are all kinds of overpriced products for these tasks, but you can do it best with a piece of something laying around your house, plus this device for 15 dollars. It's still like 4x overpriced but not having to go out shopping and searching through the hardware aisle is worth a few dollars. The grub screw would be much better with a hex head to grab instead of an allen socket, to make it much easier to block and un-block if you want to switch like that.

I purchased this to put on my EVH Wolfgang. These are "dive only" Floyd guitars, but they never quite returned in tune after a dive (for me anyways, this is my 3rd one). I figured for the price, this Tremolo Stopper was worth a try. Results = INSTANT FIX!!I can dive a little, or flap my strings against the fretboard and it returns in tune now.I've read a few reviews about the poor quality and/or cheap build.... This may not be built as precise as the ones that cost $10-$20 more, but once it's in place (with the nut), it's sturdy and not going anywhere!

I bought this, quite disappointed....in fact is still in it's little plastic baggie unopened. It is extremely small, looks cheap, not going in the guitar. Went where should have went and that was to FU Tone and got the 'real' one, cost a bit more, but you get what you pay for!!

This little guy is a godsend. After years of playing Floyds (and with far less time to play guitar than I used to have) I am officially and certifiably finished being a slave to full float trem systems. I do a lot of string bends, which wreak havoc on the pull of the base plate. I never pull up on the bar, so I finally decided to block the Original Floyd Rose trem on my Jackson PC-1 and be done with it.This device is as simple as can be - looking at the pics should verify that. I have heard bad things about the longevity and reliability of the Tremol-no solution, but this device is simpler and no nonsense.I have 2 complaints. The first is it requires drilling into your guitar, which is a hard pill to swallow for a guitar with the price tag of a PC-1, but it's the only way this product works, so perhaps calling it a complaint is unfair; it's the price of admission. The second is the allen screw that comes with it seems flimsy. I spent a few bucks on a handful of better quality allen screws (which is why my pic of the device looks a bit different). If you are interested, the size of the screw is M4 x .70 thread, 20mm.This little guy works great and I finally have the stability that allows me to enjoy all my time playing and not fidgeting with the trem - heavy string bends and dive bombing. WORD OF WARNING: make sure your trem block is long enough to rest against the screw. Some blocks are recessed so much the screw goes right over it. My block had *just* enough length to catch the screw.

Great product and fast delivery even during COVID-19! I was looking for an affordable trem stopper to use with my EVH D-Tuna I wanted to install on my Jackson JS32 with a floating Floyd Rose and this was the perfect solution. It’s well made and I like that it had two holes instead of the slot opening like the official Floyd Rose stopper. It was easier to install and I feel like it sets in and holds better. Ive been using it for a little over a week and it’s working great! I will note that there are no instructions, but if you are buying one of these, you probably know what to do. It’s pretty self explanatory.

This tremolo stopper does what it says so can't fault anything or anyone with that. However I have one gripe. This was delivered as just a plain bag of parts. No instructions provided at all regarding install or set up in the packaging or that I was able to find on the manufactures website. I know it seems simple but shouldn't assume everyone is a pro guitar tech. Luckily, I found a great video on another manufacture's website that provided a great tutorial with useful tips. I deducted a star for this inconvenience and feel that it is something that should have been provided with this product. Otherwise decent product.
