I bought this back in 2020 for my wife for Xmas. She loves it. But about 1.5-2yrs ago it started to not cuckoo. Then, all of a sudden, for no apparent reason, it will start cuckooing again. Sometimes for only a few hours and sometimes for a few days. I have changed the batteries, reprogramed it, etc., without any luck. I know that it's an electronic issue, and possibly has something to do with the light sensor. But I cannot find anyone that works on clocks that wants to touch it.

My wife always wanted a cuckoo clock, so for her birthday this year I got this clock. First the packaging was horrible. Nothing other then a cut out piece of cardboard to hold it in place. No bubble wrap or Styrofoam to secure it. Once out of box we had to glue a few parts back on. The quality of the material is very sub-par for "real wood" it is a plywood type material very light weight and just has a cheap feel to it. The clock is fully battery operated. Annd the weights are just for show. I want to return it but my wife love it. If it was 75 to 100 bucks then it would be worth it but at 300 I would keep looking.

I just bought this cuckoo clock as a gift to myself after graduating from nursing school and I must say I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I own another cuckoo clock I bought in Germany many years ago and the level of detail and craftsmanship of this one is better, it even plays more songs than the one I owned prior ro buying this. I'll definitely consider saving up some money to buy another one for my nephew who likes this type of clocks. Thank you so much for making such an awesome piece of art.

I love this clock and I’m so happy with my purchase. I bought it for a Christmas gift after looking at several and reading lots of reviews. I chose this one because it was made in Germany and real wood. I was so happy to see that it was exactly as advertised. Its very detailed and great quality. I really enjoy the different song for each hour. The cuckoo has a nice tone, not too high pitched and the light sensor works perfectly. It is worth every penny!

It works as designed. It is made of wood from the Black Forest in Germany. It is decorated and attractive to the eye; the chirping sound of the bird makes an echo sound after it emerges from its home; it plays about a 15 second recording of a different song on each hour; the water wheel and the woodsman move while the song is playing. It came with 3 batteries. It keeps time accurately. Its light sensor silences it at night. The only problem that I had was setting the clock for the number of chirps to match the hour. I was able to solve that with patience over about an 18 hour period. Now, it works perfectly. It is everything that I hoped it would be. I would recommend it anyone.

Pros: Nice clock. Happy with prompt shipment. Clock was delivered to Singapore in just 10 days. It was well packed so it came in one piece and all working as expected. Its easy to setup. The instruction provided is good enough. Very detailed and intricate wood works. Cuckoo Call and music is a pleasure to listen to. My daughter loves it so much.Cons: To my dismay, the Clock is smaller than I visualized. The dial too small to be seen from 10m distance. Cuckoo bird is a tiny nano sized bird. Not sure if its same in all cuckoo clocks. Unless you are close to it we would never realize it. The listing should have indicated the dial size. For a quartz movement and so small clock, I fail to understand the high price tag. May be due to the good wood carvings and design. I really hope the quartz and animation quality is good to last long enough to be worth the price.Except for the small size and high price i would have given 5 stars.
