Your cart is empty.This purchase is for a set of engine guards and heavy duty skid plate for the above bike model. We have improved quality and strength the engine guards by adding some more features. These new engine guards feature four attachment points (two on each side) and are braced together in the middle (Top and bottom, version 1 is only one middle brace) to prevent them from rotating in the event of a low side. The engine guards also come with a set of replaceable pucks that can be inexpensively replaced without purchasing a new set of steel guards. Think of them as protection for your protection! The steel tubing is bolted to the engine mount of the bike and the puck is bolted onto it. The material of the puck is made of UHMW-PE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength, wear resistance and dimensional stability. It is more dimensionally stable than Nylon and used in many industrial ball bearing and friction reducing applications. Compared to Delrin, it is softer but tougher. Delrin is harder but more brittle. It is an ideal material for engine guards/frame sliders since it can absorb more impact force onto itself and therefore reduce the impact on the bike. The slider pucks can be inexpensively replaced in case of a low-side. The heavy duty skid plate , designed to minimize damage and protect your bike from dirt, mud, and other debris. The skid plate is CNC cut from a solid 4mm sheet of aircraft grade aluminum. The plate is then tig welded and finished with black powder coating to increase durability. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) bolts wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

The direction they send doesn’t look anything like the product. At least on the crash bar that is I haven’t installed the to the crash plate

Super heavy duty skid plate and engine guards. Fairly easy to put on and looks great.
