I needed a shade that would be large enough to cover most of my pool as it gets too much sun on one side which was burning the chlorine too quickly, this does an amazing job!! I love the look, it’s held up great so far and keeping the chlorine longer and the pool temp is much cooler than it had been.

Giant sail that brought some much needed shade to our back yard…this thing is heavy and catches a ton of wind…be sure that you use adequate mounting hardware and posts so that this thing doesn’t end up in your neighbors yard. Sail has withstood a few months of harsh Florida summer weather with zero issue so far ( hail, 60mph winds, etc.).

We got this for our back porch and would have really enjoyed it, if a storm cell 4 days after we installed it hadn't ripped two of the corners to tatters ruining it beyond repair. So this review is about the installation, not long term look or sturdiness.The good:- It is a very nice, outdoorsy brown color, not fake looking.- It blocks the sun reasonably well, ~90% coverage with just a sprinkle of pass-through.- Corners accept up to 3/8" rope with ease, or metal attachments.The rough:- It stretches a bit, but not much. So measure the actual dimensions of the cloth and plan accordingly.- Slightly off-size. Ours wasn't exactly a triangle, and was a bit longer on one axis.- Doesn't stand up to strong windstorms. Yeah, the fabric failed catastrophically and shredded.

Living in So Cal, our backyard gets pretty hot, especially the hard scape areas. Because we have two dogs, we needed something to help mitigate the heat on the concrete. This shade worked great. It was easy to install (though we had to do some work putting in the poles). It seems durable (we’ve gone through a tropical storm recently with pretty strong winds). Only time will tell how long this will last, but so far it’s doing its job.

This sun shade is very large, the material seems strong to me and it does cover from the sun. We were trying to set it up using three 8x4’s inside a very large pots with cement, but it did not worked. The sun shade is too large for that. Now we are planning on hanging it from one side of the house and two post on the ground, we will see how it works. I will post pics when done if it works.

Keeping the play area in my backyard functional during the hot summer months was a real challenge. This made me confident of its resilience against the summer sun. What's more, the stainless steel D-rings at the corners give it a durable finish, clearly designed to withstand the elements.Installation, undertaken by my husband and son-in-law, went smoothly. There's a need to plan out the area and leave some space between the sail and fixing points. They were able to secure it without much trouble, ensuring the children could resume their outdoor activities without any delay.The design includes curved edges, aimed to prevent the sagging middle problem common to many canopies. While it's too early to attest to its long-term effectiveness, the initial impressions are positive.In conclusion, the SHADEWIZ Triangle Sun Shade Sail Canopy has made summer days a lot more bearable for the kids. It's an effective solution, introducing not only comfort but also a fun splash of color into our backyard.
