I have four dogs, one I tie around my waist, the other three are not well trained-- my fault. However, this thing is a life saver. I have had multiple leash contraptions and this one is by far the best. It definitely tangles, but each and every single possible tangle, can get untangled. You just twist it around and boom it's fixed. Now at first it might seem like you spend an eternity untangling the dogs --for them to tangle immediately after--, but eventually you get professionally fast at it, and you think to yourself "man I really should write a review so other people can experience this greatness."

It’s very sturdy and isn’t going to break. However, it works best with only two dogs. Three just doesn’t work unless you have perfectly trained dogs and my three chihuahua’s certainly are not.

Simple design that has beneficial impact! Easily walk 3 dogs and put resistance on 1, 2, or all 3 leashes. If you travel with dogs this makes road trip stops easy. The design is very simple to untangle. I use it with 3 - 4' leashes.

I took my 3 dogs for a walk. My frenchie and Griffon got into a fight with each other after seeing another dog across the street. My multipoo was trying to get away. There was no way for one of them to avoid the other. They were tethered together. I got a horrible dog bite from my own dog. I got dragged to the ground to try to keep them apart. Luckily one broke out of his harness. I can just imagine a strange dog off leash with a far worse bite would do to 3 small dogs who can’t get away. They are all on the same handle. Something to think about.I felt like a majorette with all 3 together. I was constantly turning it this way and that to keep them untangled. It became so annoying. When I walk two it’s not as bad, but still worries me if a strange dog does go for them both.

No matter how you follow the directions if you have three dogs that sniff in different directions it tangles horrifically

This is such a great idea! My dogs usually stay in their lane and walk quite well on a leash. For those instances when they swap places though, this makes the transition seamless. It’s very simple to use. I use short leashes on my dogs because I want them to stay at my side and not pull out in front. The leashes vary in length from 18” to 30” with the shortest leash used on the dog closest to me. This keeps extra slack from dragging and getting wrapped around their feet. The concept for the handle is simple but genius. It’s a very expensive piece of plastic but it is well worth the expense to have a quality and creative product that’s made in the USA.

We have a 90 pound pointer mix, a 75 pound collie shepherd mix, and just adopted a 5 month old lab malamute mix. My greatest trepidation in adding a 3rd dog was how I would walk all 3. I have been using couplers for the 2 big guys but I've never found one that I liked. The ones with a swivel would invariably get tangled under the other dog's feet, the ones with a sliding adjustment would almost always be just as long as the dog and get hooked under their tails and cause other kinds of problems. Add a 3rd dog on a separate leash and the tangling gets exponentially worse and I don't have a free hand. So I was looking for something out of the box that would make walking 3 easier. I was a little skeptical when I looked at this device but I read all the reviews and watched a couple of the videos and I am thrilled with this product. We just took our 1st walk with it and it is the best walk we have had since adopting the 3rd dog. Not only is it incredibly easy to untangle the leashes, something about having tension from each leash back to me holding on to the handle, rather than tension between dogs on a coupler, has promoted better pack behavior as the dogs are walking. There's less jockeying for position, less shenanigans from the puppy, just easier all around. I can use my free hand to shorten a leash if the puppy is being a little rowdy and trying to chew on her brothers, or to grab ahold of the xollie mix because hes kind of a jerk when we see other dogs. It's easy to pull all 3 leashes back and gathered them in one hand too. Thanks to the other reviews I waited until the handle arrived and took it to our local pet supply store and matched it up with leashes that would fit through the slots. Easy and awesome -- this thing is genius!

This is the best thing ever. I have three dogs, a ~50lb labradoodle, and two little yorkie mixes that are around 10 lbs, and walking them all together used to be a complete nightmare. With this handle, though, walking them is a completely different experience. They can't pull on each other, which used to happen when I had two on a double. There is no more dropping of the leashes, which was always a worry. Best of all, no more tangles, for real. I will admit that I had trouble visualizing how the handle would work, and was a bit skeptical about it; but, honestly, it is very intuitive once you have the leashes set-up and go for a walk. It is a lot easier when there is some tension on the leashes, so the worse your dogs are at walking the better this product will work for you, imo. I also found that you have to be careful about letting the dogs switch sides behind you, because then you end up tangled in the leashes. That wasn't as difficult to manage as I thought it would be though, and in the end, wasn't a problem. I think I should also note that my dogs have a thing about seeing other dogs running with people on bikes, or dogs that bark out windows in cars, or basically any dog that is going by quickly causes them great angst generally speaking. So, I put the labradoodle in an easy walk harness as well as the spunkier of the two yorkie mixes in an easy walk harness. The handle is incredibly sturdy as it is, but there was absolutely no strain to it with the combined weight of all three dogs, two in harnesses, in that scenario. I also found that using the harnesses with the two more active/ pull-prone dogs allowed the leashes to have the tension required to use the handle well, but qualified the strength they had as a group so that they weren't pulling me down the street either. This thing is a complete game changer. Highly recommend.
