Very good quality plug. I used mine on my 24 volt trolling motor and it worked perfectly. The plug is very heavy duty and carries the current well without overheating. Came with the necessary wire connectors to complete the installation. I’m pleased.

The original plug on my Minnkota trolling motor required a very expensive insert and twist process. It never stayed in place, and I frequently lost power. I removed the original plug and installed the new. No worries and no problems. I am very satisfied.

This plug set is perfect if you are going to add a trolling motor to your kayak. It is well-built and easy to mount once you drill out the hole to mount the plug.The best part is that the wires are 8 gauge; this is important as some trolling motors can draw a ton of amps, and you need a larger wire to support that draw. The only negative is that the mount does not come with a gasket to seal the plate off. I had to use silicon; it's not a big deal, but a watertight gasket would have been nice.

I bought this connector to upgrade the plugs on my trolling motor and marine battery box. After seeing how well they worked, I bought 2 more to do my other 2 marine battery boxes and electronics.

The plugs seem like a good solid product, but they are pretty stiff to insert and remove. Hopefully that loosens up. The wires and connections seem pretty solid, and expect they will last.
