I had a number of warning lights and alerts suddenly appear one day. I went through the troubleshooting process and replaced some of the speed sensor pickups but it didn't take long to realize it was probably the ABS tone ring.Sure enough when I removed the wheel hub the old ring had separated and fallen off the axle.I cleaned the axle surface a bit and used a wheel bearing pressing kit to apply the new ring onto the axle. The first ring I tried wouldn't go on and I ended up bending it by forcing it. It turns out I hadn't cleaned the axle enough. Using a rotary tool with a very small steel brush and a drywall cutting bit I cleaned and cleaned the axle surface all around. Finally with the axle surface well prepared I was able to apply the ring properly. It's a very tight fit which is what you want but it does make installation an effort. With the new tone ring in place I reassembled everything, cleared the error codes and took it for a test drive. Success!I figured if one side went the other would fail soon so I ordered another set given I had mangled one ring since I didn't clean the axle well enough on my first attempt. The other side went much faster now that I knew what I was doing.

Exactly what you need if your LX chassis with the NAG1 can't shift anymore, goes into limp mode and has no idea what gear it's in any more? I almost guarantee it's your rear tone rings!

It was well made and cheaper than replacing the whole cv axle. I'm glad I got 2 because I damaged the first one trying to install it

I changed them myself in the rear of my Dodge Charger 2010. One went on easily by tapping it like in Youtube videos. Another was almost impossible until I made a spacer and pressed it on using the hub which turns out to be the best ways
