Does as needed. Comes with new axle nut. Does not come with dust shield. Verified with Jeep though that on Wranglers it is not necessary. Fastest delivery compared to eBay and local part stores / Jeep dealer did not have in stock. This part was also cheaper than what local part store and dealers charge. eBay was cheaper, but longer wait time on delivery. Happy with the purchase.

My axle shaft on my Jeep Wrangler JK was a mess, and as a result, was out of commission. I ordered this based on price & delivery time. Install was easy for me, and got me back in motion again. The most surprising part? The U-Joint has a grease fitting!!! I love that! Pumped it with grease upon install, and all is well. ****** Important notes: It doesn't come with the plastic guard to prevent the axle tube from getting filled with debris. It's an easy fix....apply grease to the old factory axle shaft and slide that plastic guard off. Apply grease to the new TRQ shaft and slide it on. That's what I did with mine.

Everything worked after some modification. My first complaint is that it doesn't have anything to seal up to the axle hole. The original axle shaft came with a plastic piece to keep debris from getting into the sleeve that the shaft fits in, this one doesn't, leaving the axle and thus the dif open to water dirt and grime. Second, the U joint is far far larger than the stock U joint, so I had to grind down the bolt flanges surrounding it so that it would clear and not bind. Overall this product works if you are crafty, but it is not plug-and play.
