I have a Ford F250 SD / 7.3 diesel, production date 08/99.Note on these early 2000 trucks is that the left / drivers side brake caliper is mounted forward of the axle, whereas the passenger side is mounted to the rear of the axle.First set of these backing plate I received contained 2 plates for the right / passengers side. The 2nd passenger side plate will not work on the drivers side.First picture shows side-by-side comparison of factory side BP and passenger side plate from TRQ (note the cutout for the parking brake lever is at the bottom on the TRQ BP)I used the Amazon link to contact TRQ support to see if I could get them to send me a driver's side plate, for my truck, and here was their response:''Hello,Thank you for your email. For assistance regarding your order, please contact the retailer you ordered from directly. We are a manufacturer and do not have access to any of your information.Thank you,TRQ AutoParts''While Amazon does provide an option to contact TRQ directly, seems TRQ is unwilling to help, so don't plan on getting any support for their products. So had Amazon send me a replacement, and I sent the 'defective' set back. The second set I received did have both left / right side plates. Passenger side backing plate fit fine. The driver's side plate does not. The cutouts for the parking brake lever and other holes are fine, however 2 of the holes for the 4 mounting studs are off, and do not align with the holes in the factory bracket, as shown in the 2nd Pic.To move on with the brake rebuild on the rear of my truck, I expanded the 2 misaligned holes and was able to finish this up, as shown in the 3rd pic.I had spent $500+ on all new TRQ brake parts for the rear if my truck (calipers, brackets, pads, parking brake shoes, rotors ..etc), and ran into similar issues with their caliper pair (drivers side) not being able to mount properly. It will mount, but this puts the bleeder screw at the bottom, and this leaves a good amount of air in the brakes. I could have removed the caliper and turned this so the bleeder screw is at the top, bled all the air out, and then remounted the caliper, but would rather have the correct part and do the job the right way. While the parts received (all new, not rebuilds) seemed decent quality, I won't be buying any further parts from TRQ based on this experience.
