About this item

  • [High Performance Network Cable] This riser rated cat 5e cable is 24 AWG with 4 pairs (8 conductors). Suitable for 1 and 2.5 Gigabit (2.5GBASE-T) speeds up to 328 feet. Bandwidth tested up to 350 MHz. Supports Power over Ethernet: PoE/PoE+/PoE++ (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt) 4PPoE up to 100W.
  • [Hassle Free Packaging] 1000 feet (305 meters) comes conveniently pre-spooled in a tangle free, easy pull box so you don’t have to worry about getting behind on your next job.
  • [Solid Bare Copper Conductors] Pure bare copper conductors offer superior signal strength, conductivity, and flexibility compared to cheaper copper clad aluminum (CCA) options. Choose pure copper for a stronger, more reliable connection.
  • [For Use Indoors] The blue riser rated jacket is for use in between floors, in wall, and non-plenum spaces. Help fires from spreading floor to floor in vertical installations with mild flame retardance.
  • [✓ Certified by trueCABLE] Our data cables have been tested with a DSX-8000 Versiv CableAnalyzer and are in compliance with ANSI/TIA 568.2-D standards, RoHS-3 compliant, and cETLus certified. Backed by our FOREVER WARRANTY. Compatibility & performance tested with trueCABLE RJ45 Connectors - B07XB3CPJK and B088KTYHMR

Nice box of cable. It pulls easily enough and I haven't seen any knots. Signal quality is good so far.

Good no-name cable that has solid copper conductors, not the copper clad aluminum crap or stranded. I'm using it with the Klein pass-thru RJ45's without issue; made 50+ cables this past week and all pass gigE tests for lengths up to two hundred feet. No issues feeding it from the box either.

I use a box or two a year working with students (making patch cables etc). This brand of cable has worked well for me punching down to old 110 and 66 blocks as well as direct RJ45 connectors. The insulation on inner wires is well colored and easy to see (I've had some other types have semi translucent insulation that makes green and blue hard to distinguish as well as stripped vs unstripped - tough on new learners).

Cable is cable, and this is no less ornery than any other. It pulls smoothly from its box, and is slippery and sufficiently stiff in conduit, so any cursing on the job isn't directed at the cable: and THAT is about the best you can expect from cable. It doesn't deliberately kink or tie itself in knots like some cable I have worked with, but it does find itself tangled if one isn't careful. Untangles gracefully. I will definitely buy it again when I need more cable.
