I purchased the TruGlo Offset Rail Mount for my AR10's (offset) Red Dot Sight. The issue with this Mount is that, although it's rail is at a 45 degree angle, it doesn't place the Red Dot Sight at 45 degrees relative to Bore. I measured my Red Dot Sight mounted with the TruGlo and it is 40 degrees relative to Bore. A lot of folks don't understand the importance of being at 45 degrees relative to Bore but it does make a difference because when you rotate the Rifle by 40 degrees (instead of 45 degrees), your Red Dot Elevation and Windage adjustments affect each other. So you'll need to Sight-in your Red-Dot on a 40 degree Angle (to get it directly over Bore) and then play with both Elevation & Windage to Sight-in. Once this is done, you'll need to keep a Dope Chart handy for distances if you are looking for precision. Unfortunately, most of the other Offset Mounts suffer from this same issue and most are much worse. There is one company that has a mount that will put you at 45 degrees over Bore but it's about 3x the Price. Most every day plinkers won't know what I'm talking about and that is fine but if you are looking to be precise in your shooting at distance, you need to understand these details. Note: I have much better pics with my AR10 which show the 40 degree issue but Amazon prohibits gun pics so I couldn't post.

I honestly wasn’t expecting much for the price. But let me tell you what! For how cheep these are compared to other offset rails, they are extremely sturdy, easy to install, and sit right where I need them to. My front and rear sights are easy to acquire and they aren’t in the way of my charging handle and scope. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some offsets on a budget.

I bought this offset mount for mounting a tac light on an AR upper mated to an ARES-SCR lower. With the SCR you need micro level BUIS so I needed a very low profile mount . This fit the bill and then some. Fit and finish were excellent. edges smooth and deburred so you wont tear up your hands. Mounted rock solid on the upper and the 45 degree offset rail hugs the upper closely giving you a tight profile. I've seen/handled other mounts in the $10 range that were rubbish. These are $20-$25 and are a serious piece of kit. Buy with confidence!BTW: If you like having back up parts like me the connecting bolt is a socket cap allen head bolt, #8-32 x 1-1/4". Available on several sites.
