Exact replacement for a broken (rotten) shaft and hand-hold. Removed my original fork tines from the broken piece, attached it by forcing the end of the tines into the shaft, and then using a 2x4 and hammer to tap the new pieces together. Worked well, solid replacement, this s a good product and well constructed.

I bought a new pitchfork because the handle broke on my old one. Then I found this & it works great. Returned the new pitchfork & saved $80. Good quality should last a long time.

This is a quality hardwood handle as good or better than the original it replaced that bent at the steel sleeve that receives the fork.
