Replaced the gassed-out BB on my Novara BigBuzz with this one, which has the exact same markings and id sticker as the original. Remove your BB to verify sizing, it is listed on a sticker. Surprisingly tight bearings and good hardware for $20. Might buy a back up!

I ride a fixed gear bike 20 miles daily commuting. This bottom bracket holds up to some pretty gnarly abuse. Spins fast, spins true, and lasts. A perfect fit for my 88' Nashbar which is a strange bottom bracket size, this aligns my chain ring to my rear wheel exactly. I ride year round so this gets a lot of debris, salt and grime sprayed into it. The sealed bottom bracket keeps the bearings spinning smoothly year after year. Since I ride fixed I put a lot of strain on my bottom bracket since I use it for breaking and track standing. This holds up to power slide stops and slowing down/speeding up on a dime. I normally get 2-3 years out of these bottom brackets and when they're done I happily buy another because they're solid work horses.

Nada nuevo, similar al que llevaba instalado anteriormente, funciona bien. La uncia pega que pondría sería la compatibilidad únicamente con algunas bielas y el peso de este tipo de ejes.

My old Tange JIS square taper bottom bracket (OEM in the bike in 2002) had finally worn out and I needed a replacement. Since I needed to buy a new crankset anyway, I decided to try out the Powerspline. Everything seems in good order, the BB was in perfect condition, came with alloy cup as listed and with new fixing bolts for the crank arms. I now have spare fixing bolts, because the new crankset also came with fixing bolts. I don't ride off road or do anything crazy, just commuting home from work 2-3 times a week, which is 16 miles one way. Thus, I expect this bottom bracket will probably last me another many years.

I replaced my original power spline after about 6,000 miles and 3 years. These are definitely different from an ISIS; ISIS has 10 splines and a larger bolt hole, Power Spline has 12 splines. It arrived in two days free shipping cross-country from BikeWorldUSA. So far so good, time will tell if it lasts as long as the original. Sure was nice and smooth biking to work this morning. Installation was easy with the proper tools, and at

I don't know why some people are reporting that these bottom brackets aren't durable... I hope they haven't started making these on-the-cheap.I have had to switch all my bicycles from cartridge bearing bottom brackets to loose-bearing models because I'm always burning them out in a matter of weeks. The newer outboard cup models are the worst of all. No matter the brand (Campagnolo, Shimano, SRAM, and numerous no-name models) the cartridge bearing design just seems flawed. The exception has been the Truvativ Power Spline bottom bracket. I've gone through two in eight years. I use these on my commuter fixed-gear bicycle that I use a minimum of 75 miles a week - rain or shine. The first one gave out after three years or so back when I was using the fixed-gear for commuting and training and I went through about a dozen rain storms that year. I was putting in 150 miles a week for 2 of those three years. A slight clicking noise finally cropped up. I could soak the unit in motor oil, then let it drain and it would be good for another week or so... but I finally just changed it out.I recently bought a new fixed-gear frameset and decided to replace the old Power Spline with a new unit... the old one is still fine, it just didn't want to thread into the frameset's bottom bracket shell easily and I had a new one in the shop. The Power Spline is a proprietary design by Truvativ (now owned by SRAM I take it, based on the labeling of the new one I just ordered so that I have a spare on hand)... so it isn't ISIS... it's more tapered looking. The whole Power Spline concept never really caught on (sort of like Shimano's Octalink... yep, tried that one as well), so it's unclear how long they'll keep manufacturing them... but you have to use a Power Spline crankset with these. As others have mentioned, these aren't anything special to look at. They are not particularly well sealed or ultra-smooth turning out of the box... but in my experience, they have proven very durable and that has made all the difference.

Easy to install on my Bianchi Pista. Not much else to it, this rolls smooth and I'd recommend it for any other SS/fixed.Edit: Purchased in 2014 and now replacing in 2016. I ride fixed on my commuter and put on average 2,000 miles on that bike each year. This bottom bracket stood up to the abuse of fixed gear light duty for 2 years (4k miles). Would still recommend as I'm buying the same exact one again.

Heres the thing, this is a discount bottom bracket so you know the quality and craftsmanship can be somewhat unreliable. I ride a mercer kilo TT and have gone through 4 of these bottom brackets. When I rode single speed this bottom bracket held up quite nicely for several months. But when I switched to fixed no brakes I noticed I had to switch out this bottom bracket at least every 3 to 4 months. One only lasted me 2. For a bottom bracket that is 20 bucks I don't mind switching it out within these time frames. Just as an FYI this bottom bracket is an ISIS bottom bracket if your looking to investigate into a better quality one. However I have heard very mixed reviews about ISIS. If you want a real reliable BB you might want to switch to Shimano but that might require you to switch out your crank set. Hope this was helpful.
