I'm happy with these. They are strong, so be careful. They are separated by plastic washers in the package. If you're not careful with them, and you place separated magnets too close to each other, they can slam together with enough force to shatter them. Ask me how I know...These are too strong if you just want to hold a piece of paper against metal, and there's no handle, so you might struggle removing them from a metal surface. I'm using them to hold tools and to hold a diamond plate in place. I drilled a 30mm recess and glued the magnet in place. The included double sided foam stick tape will do a good job of holding the magnet on a smooth, strong surface.

The magnets look like the picture and are very strong for their size, but the adhesive dots sent with them are useless in my opinion.

I bought these to hold a thin cover over my fireplace. I was hoping it would help with the draft. These magnets aren't strong enough to keep it in place.

The window in our RV door does not have a blind though you can order a very expensive after market one. However to close the blind & more importantly open it to see who is outside means you must open the door & screen door first. Someone wasn't thinking in the development of this system. So I made a roll up blind that includes magnets sewen into the top of the back side. Then I sewed other magnets onto a faux leather strip. The strip is mounted on the outside of the screen door and the blind on the inside; the magnets snap right together. This blind was one of the very few things that did NOT fall off during transit. The hold is excellent!
