I don't usually use ceramic magnets, but needed these for a project. They're impressively strong for the size. I wish they put spacers in the case because it's an effort to get them apart. Really good magnets. Will keep them in mind for my next project.

These are a great set of magnets they are strong but not too strong. Great for the Fridge or as I use them on my metal door to hang posters and notes.

For a large magnetic block I was expecting a strong force but they are average. Much better than the adhesive sheets and other flexible magnets but not as impressive as the Neodymium magnets. They worked for what I needed though I had to use two of them to hold the thing in place.

The stack of magnets arrived wrapped in a single layer of tissue paper, inside a generic cardboard box. There are plastic spacers between the magnets, and the magnets appear to have impressive strength. However, all magnets had small chips along parts of their edges, and all the magnets were dirty with sooty ferrite powder. I cleaned the magnets by wiping the edges and flat surfaces on a dry paper towel.I plan to place electrical tape along the surface and edges that will contact a metal door, so that the magnet doesn't cause scratches. I don't think these magnets are a good value at $18.99 (price at the time of my order) due to the chipping and soot.

As far as usefulness, these magnets are heavy and exert a lot of magnetic force. I use them to hold down various materials on a metal honeycomb laser bed. They do an amazing job keeping lightly warped 1/8" wood materials firmly pinned down. The only problem with them is that they are 1) far too expensive, and 2) somewhat fragile. You'll note in the second photo the edges are already starting to chip after only a couple of days of use. The chipping occurs when the magnets snap together - which they do with significant force. Sadly, I just can't picture these units lasting a long time.

First, the good: they are strong—stronger than I was expecting, so over all I’m happy with them. However, unlike what is depicted in the product photos, every single one has chipped edges (and bits of adhering magnetic grit) — which is why I’ve deducted a star from my rating.I was amused, on opening the box, to find that mine were wrapped in leopard print tissue paper.[Disclosure: I received this product for “free”—in quotes because the IRS considers the item’s retail value as taxable income for federal income tax purposes. I really appreciate the strength of these magnets. So helpful when needing to hang heavier things in the garage. Ditto the fridge. They'll hold through heavy card stock with no problem.

I use magnets everywhere in my projects and just like tools, there’s always the correct one to use for each application. These ceramic magnets work best on flats and have good pull for their size. I can take one, stick it to any place on any of my metal storage shelves and hang tools etc with ease.Use one of these on a refrigerator and you’ll never use regular refrigerator magnets again. When I work on projects with screws and nuts, one of these on a workbench will hold them all securely and if you drop a screw, a pass of an inch over the floor and it pulls the metal screw to it without looking. There’s hundreds of ways to use these versatile magnets.I’ve placed all (6) magnets I received in convenient places already, and tickled how well they work.I’m ordering more👍🏼
