This is good case. Are there better, of course. For this price though it's great. The case itself feels strong but light. The TSA locks are a good addition. I don't think it's water tight. It would probably keep the rain out. One thing that they didn't touch on is that there are little squares in the removeable mid layer of foam (you can see them in one of their pictures). You need to pull out these blocks in the shape of your pistol. The gun will rest in the resulting hole. This is what keeps the gun from sliding all over the place. This is fairly common now. Due to this self fitting foam you can use this case for anything that'll fit. We'll probably use it to go to the range. Our range requires the all weapons be placed in 'something'. So this will do better than a backpack.

100% plastic including the hinges and latches. Medium sized case - barley fit my 6 inch barrel revolver, had to turn it diagonal to close the lid. There's no moisture gasket, just a plastic overlap channel. Suitable for travel, not really storage or security though. Value wise, without the included 2x TSA locks, is almost call it overpriced. As is, a decent value. Wish the handle wasn't molded into the case - wasted space if you're packing it. I do appreciate the selection of foams included. 4* as long as your expectations and size requirements are tempered.

The case is made up of plastic but is quite durable and well built. The fitment is solid and not much flex in it. I have tried a few other plastic cases (mostly to store them at home or for range) and this is definitely much better than all my other cases in similar price range.There are better cases available, but they run to twice the range.The TSA approved locks are a good addition. Also, the foam is pre-sliced so the small cubes can be removed in shape of your gun. Additionally, it is a generic box so can store other items though this is a bit thin to store an SLR. Lastly, the fitment is quite good. It is not waterproof but it should be fine to keep the rain out if you use it outdoors and get caught by bad weather. A couple of moisture packs should keep your gun dry for a long time.

Case was exactly as described and I’m happy with the purchase. I used this on a recent trip and was impressed with the quality of the case and it was such a great value. The included locks worked great and the snaps securing case worked just fine. The size was perfect for my full size Glock and I highly recommend purchasing for travel or even just home storage or range use

It is lightweight, durable and easy to carry. locks are not easily reprogrammed
