  • FLEX TECH FIT & BREATHABLE DESIGN: Dawn Flex uses an extra cushioned interior of connected EPS foam segments, for an ultra-comfortable and protected head coverage. Dawn helmet has fourteen air vents that permit maximum airflow to keep your head cool and comfortable. The ventilated design is particularly important for bikers and skateboarders who are out there doing their practice on warm weather days. Comfort padding protects your brain during inadvertent accidents on varying trail conditions.
  • TUNED FIT w/ ADJUSTABLE PADS: Dawn Flex comes with two sizes of pre-formed pads for bikers to easily adjust their fit. It is important that bikers use these pads for a secure and snug fit on their head. The helmet will stay in place without wobbling or falling during inadvertent falls, crashes, or accidents. The premium, heat-sealed pads can be removed and cleaned, which is very important as active sports can get very sweaty too often. Pads are quick-drying after hand or machine wash.
  • DEEP BACK & EXTENDED EAR PROTECTION: Dawn Flex bike helmets offer a low-profile fit for better comfort and coverage than conventional helmets. The smart low fit design covers the entire back and sides of the heat, without any restriction on vision and mobility. TSG Dawn extends the hardshell protection down to the ears, with its retro style, classic ear protection profile from the 80s. The full-cut design stands up to the rigors of high-speed falls or high-impact slams, without getting squished.

The revolutionary Dawn Flex helmet brings true soft-fit comfort combined with a CE certified construction. This is what soft-shell users have been waiting for: the perfect compromise between comfort and safety. We have added our FlexTech innovation to this classic full-cut design with ear protection. The Dawn Flex utilizes a series of interior EPS foam segments connected by a reinforced skeleton, allowing the helmet to flex and mold to your head while still exceeding safety standards. The result is a lid that fits snugly without cramping, and will exceed all your expectations.

WHY WE MADE IT

  • The Dawn helmet design comes from the very first TSG helmet, but back then helmets didn‘t come with EPS foam padding.
  • During testing it was shown that using ABS material doesn‘t work for this full coverage design because the ear sections may break off, so we made the helmet with PP material.
  • PP has a light oil content and can therefore not be painted with waterbased paints.
  • This helmet is ideal for riders who also want to protect their ears and of course look retro-stylish too.

COMFORT FEATURES

  • Flex Tech instant fit - Our FlexTech Instant Fit adapts immediately to any head shape. FlexTech uses a series of connected interior EPS foam segments allowing the helmet to flex and conform to your head. It fits like a comfortable cap but still meets bike and skate helmet safety standards. Tests have even shown that this segmentation of the EPS allows it to dissipate energy more quickly than a conventional EPS liner.
  • Tuned Fit System - Our Tuned Fit System allows a rider to dial in their fit using different thickness pads on the interior of the helmet. Our helmets always come with two sizes of pads. Each size comes in a different color which makes it easy to determine the right pads to fit the helmet to the head. It is very important to adjust the helmet with these included pads. For example, if necessary, the slightly thicker pads can be mounted on the back of the head and the pad for the front of the head can be thinner, or vice versa.
  • Low Fit - A helmet can only protect what it covers. Our Low Fit design sits low and fully protects the entire back and sides of your head without impairing field of vision or restricting movement.
  • 14 vents with active shell venting - Channels between the EPS foam segments in our FlexTech instant fit helmets allow heat to rise and are then pulled out of the shell.
  • Hardshell ear coverage - The Hardshell Ear Coverage brings full protection down to the ears. Your choice when doing faster skiing and freeriding. Or when you like the classic ear protection styling from the early 80ies.
  • Comfort padding in 2 sizes - Premium heat-sealed padding that is pre-formed and quick-drying: Removable and machine (hand) washable.
