KNEEGUARD TAHOE A

The Kneeguard Tahoe A is an all-mountain, dirt and park riders’ kneeguard, offering complete protection and a non-slip design for comfortable, unhindered pedalling. This pull-on pad features a shape-conforming neoprene body with lateral padding and a removable, pierce-proof ACF kneepad for crash activated surround protection. A 360° strap system, bottom strap and anti-slip NBR liner give it a secure, comfortable fit even in the harshest of riding conditions.

WHY WE MADE IT

• The Kneeguard Tahoe A is pre-shaped so the pad sits close to the knee. Too much material is bad and could make a pad slip.
• In addition we have a neoprene NBR sewn into the inside area to support the hold of the knee.
• To protect the knee from Impact we use an ACF (Arti-Lage) foam with a horse-shoe shape which means that the pad is not shifted immediately from
• the knee in the case of a fall.
• The ACF foam becomes softer with body heat and does not hinder movement.
• Under the tough fabric there is a PE plate which protects the knee from pointed objects.
• The flexible tough fabric works like skin so it is flexible and can stretch itself thus preventing the pad from being shifted from it‘s position.
• There is also side padding for additional protection.
• This pad has elastic straps which make it easier to tighten for a perfect fit.

• Amplified Softshell construction - Softshell look and feel but Hardshell performance. A thin and flexible pierce-proof insert inside the pad on top of the multi-impact soft foam secures the foam and your joints from crushed rocks or other sharp objects. Your choice when you want comfortable soft but reliable impact protection. (Insert removable for some products).
• ACF impact foam - ACF (Arti-Lage Foam) is engineered to mimic the physical structure of human cartilage with molecular freeflow technology. Flexible and soft in the normal state but when met with impact the molecules in ACF form a hard, protective shell. The remaining impact energy is converted into barely noticeable heat before it can reach the body.
• Bike protocol PPETS0002 based on EN 1621-1:2012 - European standard for motorcyclist protective clothing, harmonised for mountain biking

COMFORT FEATURES

• Pre-shaped design - Our pre-shaped body protection comes with a pre-bended articulated design for unrestricting wearing comfort and superior fit.
• Horseshoe Shape - Our custom Horseshoe shape that greatly surrounds knees, elbows or shoulders. The compression-moulded foam pad with a raised top part sits perfectly around your protected joints. This shape minimizes shifting and down-sliding to keep your pad in place during action.
• Stretchy neoprene fabric - Very strong and at the same time flexible over a wide temperature range, Neoprene offers great temperature regulation and shock absorbing qualities. Perforated for breathability.
• Tough Stretch cover - Strong abrasion-resistant fabric offers great resistance against wear and is used in areas prone to high abrasion. Extremely durable but still light and flexible.
• Anti-slip NBR - A NBR neoprene stripe at the inner top of the pad supports an anti-slip fit, keeping the pad in place during action.
• Lateral padding - Foam padded side walls offer additional coverage.
• Top velcro 360° strap - The strap wraps around the whole limb offering superior fit adjustment, wearing comfort and protection.
• Bottom velcro strap, Removable foam
• Pull-over design - Pull up and fix straps for the most secure and shift-free fit and wearing comfort.
