The extenders did not extend for me. My Halloween backdrop had to be folded back and clipped to be held on this stand. Other than that, I love the carrying bag it came in.

I used this to hold a birthday banner and it was great. Only problem was the wind blowing it over so I had my dad tie a brick to the bottom lol, worked like a charm.
