Today my unit stopped working. I was using it 1-2 times a week. Today it just wouldn't work, tried clearing the connector on both sides, it's not a mechanical issues, the electronics aren't working.I came to see if I'm still within the return window, unfortunately it's been about 58 days so it's too late. That's why I decided to leave a review. My dice to potential buyers, spend a few extra $ and buy something with a warranty.

Used this in Banff AB where the town had an awful lot of Tesla Destination Chargers, but few J1772. Great fit. High quality materials.Very Happy I Bought This!

First time I used it, was difficult to disconnect. I wasn't aware of the locking mechanism initially, but even when I figured out how to "lock" and "unlock" it with the small slider switch inconveniently located on the bottom, it stopped working after about 5 uses and became frozen onto my Tesla charger. I had a brief FREAK OUT moment, then searched the reviews for advice.HOW TO UNLOCK: If the locking switch won't release it from your Tesla charger... you MUST dismantle the locking switch by removing the metal pin. With either a smaller Philips screwdriver or ideally an awl, tap on the hollow end until the fatter end comes out enough to grab it with pliers or elevate it with a flathead screwdriver. Once that pin is out, the slider switch falls out. Then, the next step will probably cause irreversible damage (i.e. it won't lock on but is still fully functional). Use a screwdriver to unseat the small spring holding the locking piece in place. You can further dismantle the whole useless annoying locking switch and you're left with a fairly clean-looking, fully functional adapter that is much easier to use and just as waterproof, but won't get stuck.

Works very well with the connection Tesla to BMW; Charges fine with no problem. Simply plug the adapter into the Tesla male plug and than into the BMW

Had it for 2 weeks, used about 7 times. Don't have any issues described by others. Have a Tesla 60 amps charger and this adapter fit perfectly in and out. As far as i can tell, it uses the full level 2 charging for my PHEV. Take about 1 hour 45 minutes to fully charge 14KW battery from 15%. But I only have it for 2 weeks, will update if anything changes in a month or 2. For $43 including tax, it's was worth the risk.

I was sure to test it out locally before our road trip we have scheduled and was very pleased when it immediately worked as intended. Once you connect it to your J-1772 port and connect the Tesla charging cable to it, the Green light came on indicating it was charging.

Worked for a few weeks, and then one day, it got stuck with stuck. Lock/open button won't work and we tried everything to separate home tesla charger but it won't come out. Can't reach company. Worst purchase. Can't charge my tesla now without shelling out $500 for new tesla charger.
