This lens is easily the best built I own. However it has no contact pins and therefore no autofocus no lens data and no aperture control. Some cameras will need to operate in a mode without a lens to work. Just be prepared and it’s great.

wonderful lens: it has near no distortion, very sharp overall: tack sharp in the center already at f2 with decent corners , which are also very sharp starting at f4. Almost no chromatic aberration. A plus are the starlights that begin to appear at f2.8. Its weakness is flare, even if I can manage to exploit it as creative resource. Price is a steal! Back in the analogic era, I owned the Olympus Zuiko 20mm f2, which was a great lens, but this one is better in all aspects. Higly reccommended.

Pick this up on a bit of a whim. Knocking around France with a new Canon R-10. Can't tell you how often this lens was on the camera. Up close and needed 110 degree FOV or Utah Beach and looking for a wide view. Really helped in the narrow streets in the old parts of the city or when you want something highlighted and in context. Great "fun" to shoot.

The lens is made for APS-C sensors, so it's on the large side for a Micro Four Thirds camera. It's very nicely made, all metal, with thoughtful accessories included. The metal filter adapter/quasi lens hood is very useful, and the included lens wrap is nice, but personally I'd appreciate a lens bag. Packaging is excellent: double boxed to be able to include the lens wrap I think.Reading reviews online, I was aware of its limitations, but the mass of it on my small camera body was a bit much for me, so I returned it. I'm going to spend more for a lighter and smaller wide angle lens that's native for MFT.

I bought for its realtively wide aperture, ended up disappointed as it is very blurry at f/2.0 and f/2.4.It is also really heavy. It probably weighs more than my Lumix 45-150mm lens which is way too much for a Micro Four Thirds lens in my opinion.
