These tub spouts with rear diverter and brass top shower adapter are perfect for updated baths. The heavy-duty brass and ABS used to make these tub spouts and adapters ensure durability, so these fixtures will endure the test of time. The polished chrome finish flows beautifully with any decor.
NOT FOR USE ON COPPER PIPES
Specifications
- With rear push and pull diverter
- 5-1/4 inch length
- For 3/4 inch pipe size and includes a plastic bushing adpater for 1/2 inch pipe size
- Durable metal construction stainless steel body
- Polished chrome finish
- Use the plastic bushing adapter if you have a 1/2 inch IPS nipple
- Disregard the plastic bushing adapter if you have a 3/4 inch nipple
- The nipple length should be 1/2” - 3/4” to avoid the gap between the wall and the edge of the tub spout

My old-school shower diverter broke and this was the best price I could find. I prefer the pull being close to the wall because it puts less stress on the pipe because your not putting as much leverage on it when you pull it up. My old one seized and I pulled on it so hard it snapped off from the wall so to prevent that from happening again I bought this one until I remodel my bathroom works flawlessly

A plumber recommended this spout for me. I had gone to a plumbing supply store and home depot and neither could find a spout to replace my old one. This did the job.

This faucet was easy to install. The diverter does not stay up unless the water is running, but sticks great while the water is running.
