Aluminum pipes are what this is made for I was able to manage some decent beads using stainless pipes also but took a bit more work

For aluminum less than an 1/8 wall and thinner steel tubing this thing works good. So far I've used it for radiator outlets intercooler pipe and other coolant tubes with zero issue from the tool.
