Product image shows it holding a 15hp my image is what an 8hp looks like on it. Unstable had to mount motor backwards to prevent it from falling. Says it will hold 440 lbs. That may be its breaking point but there isn’t a 440lb outboard that will fit. I wouldn’t trust anything over my 8hp on it. Very misleading. I bought two will be returning one. Keeping the other one only because I don’t feel like taking apart and putting back in box. Will never buy again.

Got for my Evinrude 55 boat motor. Holds it well,just needed to put a board on the bottom against the ground area for support, it's top heavy.

Nicely done especially for the price bigger than I thought I was putting a small boat motor on it that would probably take at least a 10 horsepower all day long.

Assembly was very simple but one bolt and acorn nut was cross threaded in the parts pack and won't tighten completely which is why I gave it 3 stars. It's an inconvenience to have go to the store to buy a replacement bolt and nut. Other than the hardware issue, it seems like a nice sturdy stand.

Needed a simple stand for a 5 hp Tohatsu. Works great. Stable. Can easily run motor in bucket or with muffs to do land testing.

I gave 5 stars even though one of the bolts was stripped and would not screw on the threading… so I found a replacement bolt & nut of the same size at homedepot.I also changed the wood block from facing frontwards in picture #1 to bolting onto the backside of picture #4 and you can see in picture #5 that it looks better balanced instead of being so easily tipped forward with all of the weight of the engine hanging forward. I’m sure it would be just as secure doing it the regular factory instructions way a couple of inches forward.
