Great product thus far,it was a simple swap out but don’t forget that you have to calibrate your waist gate linkage or the engine light will stay on.very simple to calibrate(26mm from tip of rod to base of actuator).you don’t need a lot of mechanical knowledge to replace it or adjust the linkage.just an understanding of how it works,what it does and how to adjust if your off in a positive or negative direction.if you don’t understand you can download ista for your laptop and connect via a Ethernet cable and a Obd2 connecter.ista will tell you which way to adjust and how much. Fyi ista is a BMW trouble shooting software.
