We have a wooden screen door to enter our screened in porch behind our garage that has been sagging this past year and scrapping on the concrete floor. I checked out Youtube video's and decided this almost 80 year old grandma could attempt to take care of that door I am thrilled that it actually worked and I was able to do that simple job myself. Duct tape it in place and make some pilot holes like they tell you and the rest is history.

This is a well-made stainless steel turnbuckle. It is being used on a custom wooden gate and a beach house on the Texas coast. This is the first and only stainless steel turnbuckle I’ve seen. I do believe it will hold up for many years. Time will tell.

Minimal in size but seems plenty strong to do the job. I used larger screws since I made the gate from cedar which is pretty soft; with a harder wood the screws which were included would be fine. It's worth the cost to know it won't rust.

Well I liked that it worked to lift the screen door up but it sure is flimsy. I thought it might break when I was tightening it up.

Expensive, but worth it for marine-grade stainless steel, since this will be exposed to weather year round. I worried a bit about the length, but it did a fine job of squaring up sagging 32" wooden door. Just follow directions and position one end at the sagging corner and the other as far up the opposite stile as it will go. Should work just as well on a 36" door. Includes all necessary hardware (screws).
