Outer wrench works fine, the inner socket is a tight fit but does work.

Had to file down slightly for it to fit my ‘08 YZ250F, however it’s solid and works well. Very disappointed it’s made in Taiwan.

I used this on my 2007 YZ250F.I own this as well as both Motion Pros:Motion Pro 08-0373 (http://www.amazon.com/Motion-Pro-08-0373-Compression-Removal/dp/B000WJDPEM)Motion Pro 08-0429 (http://www.amazon.com/Motion-Pro-08-0428-Blue-Wrench/dp/B001AWIJQ4)I prefer the Tusk over the Motion Pro for several reasons:1. You don't need to remove the handlebar to loosen the damper assembly because the cap wrench is thin enough to clear the handlebar lower holder.2. The compression valve adapter takes a standard 19mm hex socket.3. They're made of steel, not aluminum, and held up to *serious* torquing.I ended up purchasing this after I stripped the aluminum Motion Pro compressional valve removal tool (both base valves were frozen onto the forks).Anyway, it feels like it was designed by a mechanic or someone who actually used the tool. Made the job a whole lot easier for me.

These worked flawlessly on my KX450, I went mud bashing on my 450 and mud got jammed in between the fork seals & fork guards. I've used other tools where the edges in the center aren't rounded enough and end up slipping off before you can loosen or tighten it, this one I didn't have any trouble with at all.

This is hands down the most inexpensive suspension tool you will buy. The quality is great and the fact that it is a three piece tool makes it even better. The box end to loosen the cap, the nut to remove the inner cartridge and the groove in the handle of the wrench to hold the dampening rod during disassembly of the fork. I used this tool to rebuild a set of forks on a 05 Yamaha YZ 450f and it worked flawlessly. OE suspension tools are EXPENSIVE so this is a great deal. If you have the skills to do fork work this is a must have for your tool box as it will work on a variety of bikes.
