This shift lever fits my 2023 klx230s perfectly. As was suggested on klx230 nation this longer shifter gives more room for your foot if you wear riding boots or just have bigger feet. Very pleased with the change.

Was trying to find a decently priced shifter for my x300, although this wasn't meant for it, it fits perfectly. Clearance from the skid plate and engine. Have my stock in my bags in the extreme case this one breaks.

This thing stripped after only a couple of rides on maintained Forest Service Roads. Nothing intense for riding conditions. I took my friends stock klx 300 lever and it fits perfect and snug so I’ll be ordering one of those now.

Wanted to have a foldable gear shifter to accommodate when the bike might take a spill. This is so simple to replace, is lighter than the original (lower weight is a plus at this low HP) and works perfectly for its purpose. It also looks a little more interesting… if that makes you happy 🤷♂️.

As many KLX 230 owners know, finding a suitable replacement shifter is a bit of a challenge! This shifter fits perfectly on the stock spindle without any modifications or adjustments. I can't speak to the durability of the shifter yet, but finding gears is easy and engagement is solid. The pivoting shifter head will certainly be helpful when the bike is inevitably dumped while riding off-road.

Easy to install and fits perfect. Helps shifting because I’m a size 11 and 230’s were meant for small people I suppose, super flimsy though. I keep the OEM on me when I ride just in case. Looks cool

Do not be fooled. This lever does NOT fit the 2020-2025 KLX300R. It's far TOO large for the spline.
