I used it for replacing the valves on my Yamaha XS1100 and worked great. Looks a little cheap but works just fine.

While the part will work it is pretty rough. The threads aee rough as well as the part casting. Extreme care is needed not scratch valve guide area as well as the head and valves. One of the parts was broken upon arrival. My usage was for motorcycle engine.

Used this to lap the valves on my 1978 Honda CB550K, couldn't of done it without this tool.

Heavy duty, works great. Removes valves easily. When used properly you will not deface the valve at all. I've seen a bad review on this item and it was apparent to me that the user did not know how to use the tool properly. It will also work on most cars, pick up trucks and some diesel equipment as well. Could not have spent my money any better way as far as valve work goes.

This item worked wonderful. I used it on my kawasaki Drifter 800 motorcycle engine to change valves. What a great item to save me time and aggravation.

If you use this tool on any Heads or Valves . you will need to fabricate some kind of "FOOT" for the base screw...Base screw will mar the face of your valve , or worse , slide off the valve , under pressure scarring the head ...Yoke is flimsy... Serious flex under pressure , this is a garage sale tool...

I bought this set, because I needed to change the valve stem seals on a foreign car make. I went to a couple of shops bevore and if I was lucky to even find a compressor, it looked cheap and it was quite expensive. This set provided me with what I need and I'm glad I can use it for other engines, too. Just make sure your motor head is not bigger, than what the C-clamp can handle.
