This paddleboard set is a solid choice for anyone looking to hit the water. The board itself is well-made, with thick, durable material that feels like it can handle some bumps against river rocks. However, an additional layer of material would be been a good security measure. It has a sleek, stylish design and feels sturdy underfoot. I actually like the penguin logo and think it's a cool touch. Attaching the fins was effortless—just slide them on and off, and thanks to the design, there’s no worry about them slipping off while in use. The paddle also feels durable and should hold up well over time. One aspect that could be improved is the backpack. While it’s convenient for storing the board and accessories, the quality is lacking. It feels oversized and a bit sloppy, making it less comfortable to carry. A more structured and well-fitted design would be a welcome upgrade. Then again, I didn't order this for that, so not a huge concern.Inflating the board takes some effort since it needs to reach 12-15 PSI. It feels quite stiff as you pump, but the built-in pressure gauge within the pump ensures you’re inflating it correctly. An electric pump isn’t necessary, but after inflating this manually, I’m considering getting one for convenience. One thing to note: When deflating, there’s a strong chemical smell, similar to paint thinner. I recommend doing this in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors. The paddleboard itself is high quality and delivers a great experience on the water. If you're looking for a durable and stylish board, this is a great option!

It’s really light for a board that supports me nicely. The downside is no side grips. There’s one center handle, that’s it. There’s a big flat pink pad, and a ring for the leash. No strap for the oar, no side grips, nothing extra. I suppose that keeps the weight down. This is a really light board, even for an inflatable. The size is great, I’m 6’1” and had no problems on it at all. The inflation was easier than expected. I got it as far as a pump will get, about 1 psi, then used the included hand pump to finish it. I got it from 10-15 in 60 pumps, so it’s should be about 180 pumps total. I was surprised how quickly it got to 15psi. My other board I get tired and bargain it out at 11-12psi. The bag does have all the handles I want. It has four cinch straps. It has room for two boards. There’s so much extra space, even all the way cinched it has room to go tighter. The one thing I haven’t put to the test is durability. It’s a little bit thinner material. It doesn’t feel too thin, it feels fine. It gets plenty stiff, but it doesn’t have as deep a thonk sound when I tap it. I think it’ll hold up fine as long as I don’t make a habit of riding it over rocks. Fir the price, it’s a good option. The pump hose is cheaper, that’s one area it skimps. The fins are full quality. The paddle is pretty basic, but it’s stiff and telescopes. I think it’s aluminum, it felt like I should be careful not to dent it. It makes savings in the right areas, the stuff easy to upgrade.

I have never had a stand up paddle board before, but we do have low to mid priced inflatable kayaks. This is of a much better quality than those. Please keep in mind that I have to do this review without the benefit of riding it since it is too cold right now where I live. The board is very nice and seems quite a bit bigger than I had imagined. When it's inflated, it feels basically like a regular surfboard. I inflated it just under the recommended minimum (since I wasn't actually taking it out) and it felt like it was solid instead of filled with air. There are rings on each end for tying off and a bungee for strapping down items like a bag/backpack.It comes with fins, air pump, ankle lanyard, paddle, and a bag. Everything easily fits in the bag which is also a backpack (which I didn't notice when I ordered it). Everything together, it is a bit heavy, but not too bad. The air pump is okay. It's not a two way/double pump (I'm not sure what those are called actually), so it only pumps air when you are pushing down. The hose is plastic, but I didn't have any issues with it leaking air. It has a pressure gauge built in which is really nice. It hooked to the valve on the Board securely. I will say that it was a workout inflating this thing. You might want to plan on doing it in two separate rounds. I gave up before getting it to the minimum recommended pressure because I worn out and I wasn't actually going to take it out on the water anyway. I am hoping I can use my electric air pump on it.When I disconnected the pump, the air came rushing out, and I had to put the cap on very quickly to keep too much from escaping. I thought there was no valve, but I just realized that you have to twist the valve with a small tool that's included. One way is for inflating and one way is for deflating. Not sure if the instructions did not explain that well or if I just didn't read the instructions well. The board deflated quickly and was pretty easy to fold up and put in the back. I can't wait to try this.
