For those radiators with transmission oil coolers, the tanks are molded using heat-resistant, high-density polymer plastic for added protection against extreme engine temperatures. Each TYC radiator is leak-tested before leaving the factory to ensure consistent quality.

There are two drain plugs, one on each side of the radiator. OEM has only one drain plug. Hopeful the extra drain plug won't cause any problem.

OEM quality part. Fit well. Could not use OE plug off the old OEM radiator, but came with its own long and short bottom plugs. I have an E90 N52 6-speed manual transmission so I used both short bottom plugs provided. Don't over-tighten! Just snug. I used petroleum jelly to assemble all threads, clips, and radiator hose connects. You'll need Star/Torx T20 and T24 bits. I've driven the car for two weeks since the repair and been no issues whatsoever. remember to use distilled water only and BMW-only coolant pn# 82141467704. The BMW E90 N52 engine has a magnesium block - do not use non-BMW coolant.I did not (not) remove the under-engine bottom covers. Not needed. Pour some water into the engine bay near the radiator to see where liquids will appear under the car and place your catch pan there. I didn't drain the old broken radiator at all. Pan caught everything. After the job took the car to a wash station and cleaned the entire engine bay and under-engine bottom covers.

The radiator was in good shape and shipped quick. It's not the right radiator for a "u.s spec" 07 BMW 335xi AT E90 N54Despite the mixed reviews. I assure you don't waste the time or money it's way to tall like 5 inches too tall a little to wide and the hose fittings are not in the same location and there actually different so it will not work at all! Save yourself the headache

Addendum: VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ. This applies to at least some 325i E90's equipped with an automatic transmission, the instructions show putting in the short plug on the passenger side of the radiator. DO NOT DO THIS, USE THE LONG PLUG. Using the short plug blocks the coolant from flowing through the transmission cooler and will result in a cooked transmission. You can tell this is the case when pulling the old radiator you have a smaller hose connected below the main radiator outlet on the passenger side of the car. I believe the instructions and the radiator are geared more towards later cars. The original radiator in my car did not have the drainage plug on the passenger side, so I wasn't sure what plug to put in. The instructions tell you to use the short plug if your car is not equipped with intercoolers. So I installed the short plug. While doing my final checks before driving, I fortunately noticed the temperature in the transmission cooler coolant lines stayed at near ambient temperature after everything else got up to temp. I did have to drain the radiator to pull out the short plug and install the long plug. After doing this, there was flow through the transmission cooler once everything got up to temp. Also keep in mind the transmission cooler does have a thermostatic valve on it, so it will not allow coolant to flow until everything is up to operating temp. You may also find that you have little to no heat from the vents should you install the wrong plug. Or at least that was the case in my car. It nearly had me thinking I somehow plugged my heater core, which is an easily 2 full day job even for someone who knows what they are doing. Luckily, I figured out what was going on before I jumped the gun on that. So I'm putting this here in the hope that it saves at least one person from needlessly changing out their heater core and nuking their transmission. That said, it's still a very good radiator. They just desperately need to do a bit of a rewrite to the instructions.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Radiator is really well built. I had an issue with one of the mounting hooks on the passenger side not wanting to fit into its slot, but it only took a tiny modification to fix. This may be due to my particular car, so I cannot hold that against it. Otherwise, the fit was absolutely excellent. It does have an extra drainage port when compared to the original, but that is more of a convenience than anything else. Very happy with it, especially as it came at an incredibly good price. It's almost cheaper than pulling one from a junkyard vehicle, only without the potential for issues that come with junkyard parts.

I got my coolant overflow hose. But not my radiator. They said it shipped. Fed ex only said there was one package though I pod for 2. Paid almost $300 dollars. And I got a coolant hose. Worst place to order from. Unacceptable. Not a fast reply. Not a fast result. I am currently losing money because I cannot get to work. Thanks to these shenanigans.

Direct fit for our E90 BMW. Seemed well made and was in perfect condition. I would not buy any open box radiator due to the risk of previous handling. The only concern I had was that my vehicle has a manual transmission and the original radiator is different from the Auto. This unit does allow you to plug the ports that are not needed and it worked very well. Do worry about ordering if you have a manual transmission. There are cheaper units out there but this one does the trick without issue...easy 5 stars.

This looks like a quality radiator. I bought this as a “used like new” item but it was damaged. I’m going to order new and I will update the review.UPDATE: It turns out that this is not even the correct part number for a 2007 E90 N54 335i A/TThe correct part number is 17117547059 and I found one here on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0025OYE92?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
