I like it because it was cheaper. However it is easily damageable. When I first took it out the box, the wind blew and the fender hit the ground and was scratched badly. Luckily I had them painted to match the truck so you can barely tell. Easy to install. Just be careful because they are delicate.

They are really nice, but wouldn’t order again because I was sent the wrong one and wouldn’t get any help.

Best bang for your buck. I liked the finish as is and left them just as they came. Good easy to install. I don’t right a lot of reviews but these are deserving of one.

To start, I was skeptical due to the price. I didn’t buy the cheapest, but I did t buy the most expensive set either. I like many GM truck owners, have a bead that is rusting over the wheels on my 2010 Silverado. I picked these up, had a buddy paint them to match, and installed them. First however, I sanded down my rust areas, primed them, and used 3m cavity wax on the inside of the bed where the rust was coming from. Installation was easy with the directions provided. The rubber gasket is really nice and helps the overall fit while protecting your paint. *Install trick- put the gasket on the flare, and then gently remove the backing while it’s in place. Then just press down to adhere as you go. All of the components were high quality, and had a few extras of everything. Some reviews mention that they don’t lay flush, I didn’t have this issue. I laid them in the sun while I was prepping for install, and the. Put them on. You can adjust the mounting points if you’re having any issues with gaps to close them. This kit is great for the money. Buy with confidence.

These flares are great. I've had them for a year now and they have held up nicely. For anyone that likes the bushwacker look, but not the associated price - these are for you. I specifically bought these to hide the infamous rear wheel-well rust - I repaired, treated, sealed, then covered with these because that rust will be back. The install went well, and the fit is tight. What most pictures don't show you is the direct front and rear - these flares do make stock tires look tucked way inside the body, perhaps a bit goofy. That might be an issue for you, or might not -it isn't for me and the truck looks good from oblique and side angles. Wider tires and a leveling kit would be good complements to these flares.

I purchased these flares to cover the typical wheel well rust on my 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup. The truck is silver, so I had a local body shop paint these flares prior to installation. They looked good enough out of the box, but I would recommend painting them to either match your truck or for more of a glossy finish. Installation took approximately 4 hours, but I had to grind down the rust bubbles and covered with POR-15 prior to installing the flares. This preparation is probably not necessary, but I would recommend it if you want to keep your rust from returning quickly. The installation is extremely straightforward, but I would recommend reading the instructions. I had thrown them away (on accident) and therefore did not understand how much of the rubber gasket should be placed on each flare. I went ahead and started putting it along all of the flares and ended up being approximately 10 inches too short. I emailed the Tyger Auto customer service and was blown away by their speed of response and their action when I informed them of the issue I had. They are sending me a whole new hardware set, including more gasket material, free of charge! Overall, excellent fender flares and customer service. I will definitely be recommending these flares to others!

Put these on my '08 Silverado 1500, got these to cover the typical chevy bed/ fender rust that is happening. The rust was so bad that you could put your hand thru the rust in the bed on the passenger side, with the driver's side almost as far gone. Hardest part about installing these was getting the rear flare lined up just right on the drivers side due to the gas tank lid. I did end up buying heavier stainless screws and clips to fasten to edge of fenders for the rears, as i didnt mind screwing into the inside lip/edge of the fenders with as bad as they were. The fronts went on with existing fender/wheel well screws. We will see if they hold due to severity of rust. The flares do fit nice and snug except in one area at bottom- but i think that is only because the fender was slightly bent from before. I knew when i bought these that i need to remove the z71 decals on the bed, but thats ok. I will more than likely be putting a little bit of a lift kit on, along with new beefier tires (which it needs new tires anyway), to give it a meaner look. I don't do any off roading/ mudding, just needed something to hide the ugly rust. Overall looks awesome.
