Deionized water (vs distilled water) removes the minerals so it prevents the fine 'snow' from the mist of an ultrasonic humidifier that can settle on surfaces. The bottle is sturdy and survived delivery.

Seems demineralized just very expensive mine as well purchase a water demineralizer it's just way overpriced
