If you rebuild you own hydraulic cylinders these are a must. Very good quality and easy to use. Shortens the rebuild time by half. I would 100% recommend these and would purchase again if I ever needed to.

Not much to say other than they are a well-made tool that simplifies installing rod seals on hydraulic cylinder end caps. I've always done them just pinching in my fingers and it usually ends up being a pain. These do that for you and leave room to work with to get them set in place.

I'm getting ready to rebuild the cylinders on a Ford front end loader. All the tutorials I've watched highly recommend these seal tools for the main seals. These function well and feel sturdy. The spot welds holding the hinged pieces together aren't pretty, but are definately fused well. My tractor's almost 50 years old, so I'm sure I'll be needing them for other cylinders too. I think they'll work for as long as I'll need them.

After spending all day fighting steering cylinder seals on my old Case backhoe before finally getting them in, I decided to try these seal tools when one of the lift cylinders started leaking. Took 30 seconds to pop the seal in versus 8 hours previously on the steering cylinder with screwdrivers, picks, etc.

Used to put o ring inside cylinder canister. O ring was very stiff so took quite a bit of tries because of ring kept twisting out of tool.still worth the money or I would not have gotten it in
