Lasted one year and blew up. It also caused my A/C Expansion Valve to get debri from it exploding. I replaced the compressor with an OEM one from a junkyard with only 30,000 miles on it. And bought an OEM A/C Expansion Valve. Works perfectly now. Avoid UAC. Save yourself the hassle and money out out the window. Do not buy.

So far, it's okay, but I was worried. When I received the compressor, it looked like the box had been opened. It didn't seem like a used part so I installed it. No instructions or papers in the box so make sure you down load it. It says that it has oil in it for shipping and to drain it and then add in your vehicle recommend pag oil. You need to measure the amount taken out of the old compressor as that's what needs to be added to the new one. If not, you might overfill the system with oil. It also says to flush your system as your failed compressor could have passed debris. Good luck.

It fit perfectly in my 2005 5.3L vortec GMC Yukon XL. And it works just fine. Only confusion was the need to add more PAG46 oil. Comes precharged with 8 oz. How much more to add you ask?!? Great question. I had no clue and couldn't find an answer. Perused the internet and found common answer of 11 oz. If you have rear A/C which means you have the overhead selection for rear cooling.

Brand new compressor that is just as good as OEM. Make sure your old unit is fully charged before assuming it's bad. Mine wouldn't cycle and showed open voltage. Went to evac system and realized it was low. Recharged and it cycled fine. Replaced anyway due to old unit having 250k miles on it and new one works great.

Very happy with the quality, packaging and fit. Exact replacement for our 2006 GMC Sierra k1500. FYI, it came with oil inside for shipment, be sure to order new ac oil with it, drain the packaging oil before installation and some refrigerant cans (find out your vehicle's capacity). Bolted on, still works perfectly! Great buy!!!!
