Connecticut Electric manufactures new high quality replacement circuit breakers for Challenger load centers that accept Challenger Type A style circuit breakers. Circuit breakers should only be replaced with new testd and Safety Agency Listed circuit breakers, never used or refurbished ones.

This 120 volt Challenger "A" Series 15 amp, single pole, With Right Side Clip, replacement circuit breaker is used in a Challenger load center. Typical applications, up to 1,800 watts, include fixed lighting circuits, branch circuits, wall receptacles, electric motors (1/4 hp to 1/2 hp), attic fans and garbage disposals. These are only suggested applications and cannot assure compliance with all local codes. Please check local electrical codes before starting any electrical project.

Had to replace some 30 year old defective breakers in my box. So far they work fine but I found breakers at the Orange Big box store that work even better and they were less than half the cost but I had to replace 2 at a time because they were 1" wide instead of 1/2".

Works great for older side mount panels. No other store carries them in stock. Got it next day with Amazon. Huge help

Picture one...old one on the left, new one on the right. Picture two..breaker installed. My old breaker failed and had to find a new one. Most of the shops locally did not have them in stock and would have to order them. I was told they come in pairs with one having the hook on the left and other other on the right. I ordered the breaker thru Amazon and it arrived in a few days and I didn't have to buy a pair. Installation was easy once I figured out that I had to first remove the other breaker, pair them up, and install them as one unit. The breaker works perfectly.

Ordered to replace a 40 year old breaker. So pleased that I found it and thrilled that it fits like a charm!A bonus was that it arrived before the ETA. Very pleased with product and seller. I will get a couple more for spares.
