Description did not mention that it is only 12 ounces. Thought it was a 4 pound package as I usually get it and the picture looked just the same. The price is just ridiculous for a 12 ounce package. The return costs me almost $ 6 shipping and then they charge a 20 % restocking fee.

The treats are excellent and my horse loves them. However, Amazon twice shipped 12 oz packages instead of 4 lb. So I had to return both shipments and buy elsewhere as the price was quite steep for only 12 oz.Should have read the other reviews as this seems to be a common error on the sellers part.

first off -- five stars for the product -- it's excellent, helps my insulin resistant horse. the one star review is for the seller. we're writing this review because "beyond your home" has a history of sending the small size while charging for the large one. both times we've ordered the 4 lb bag from this seller, we have received the small size instead. amazon customer service has taken care of it both times (thank you amazon!) but we think others have had the same problem, so beware if you're ordering from this seller.

Love these treats. Have ordered the peppermint and they send the 4 pound bag. Have ordered these twice now - both times sent 12oz bag. Ridiculous waste of time. Get your barcodes or stocking numbers sorted.

My pony likes these quite well, and I like the smaller size for training purposes. They don't crumble easily, so there's no mess in my pockets either. They're perfect if you like to pop a handful in your pocket aand reward as you train.
