Got the tray because it had a good water tray and looked nice aesthetically. I washed the tray before use and upon using it the finish they used in manufacturing ruined my tea. The smell first of all is repulsive, it smells like harsh chemicals. Second, the finish comes off on your tea ware and taints the flavor, my tea tasted like chemicals and I now have a very bad stomach ache. Lastly the chemical smell and taste are staying on my tea ware, my teapot, pitcher, and cup are all ruined now. After rinsing with boiling water all my tea ware smells and tastes like the chemicals they used on the tray. Don’t buy, it’s literally poison. If this is a good company they would see my review and offer me a full refund and replacement tea set.

I used it for the first time this morning and it was great! I love the design etched into it and the water drained right into the basin without leaks, and it was easy to clean and dry. The size is plenty for my entire gongfu set. The material feels a *bit* on the cheaper side possibly so I won't expect this to last for years and years but it works great for now and looks nice!

It's a great size for 1-8 tea ceremony. It drains well and is all wood. I use it often and I'm very happy with it. It feels heavy duty compared to trays with the plastic bottom. I'm very happy with it, you will be too

I chose this model because it's made from bamboo, which shrugs off water as if it wasn't there. I already had a larger tea boat, aka gong fu tray, with a water catching tray underneath, but it doesn't have the drain tube this one does and emptying the water out of the older tray was always a bit of a tippy, fraught and inconvenient process. The automatic drain on this one makes all the difference and all the waste water goes into a discrete and easier to carry and dump out receptacle under the table. The pump on the tubing gets the syphon going and the results are immediate. One thing: there's a screw in plastic fitting on the tray that the hose plugs in to, not that mine leaked but I didn't give it a chance either: I was careful to finger tighten it FINGER TIGHT when attaching the hose. Warm the tubing up a bit, then moisten it, and it will go on the nipples more easily.

THIS IS NOT DESK SIZED. THIS TEA TRAY IS FOR A PERMANANT TEA TRAY.Basically this is a tea tray that you leave on the table with a drain. Of you have enough desk space. Good on ya. But I wouldnt reccomend it if your sitting on your desk and playing a relaxing game. Very pretty regardless. Love it.

I should preface this by noting that this is my first wooden tray (prior one is ceramic) so the flaw could be common on most plastic resevoirs. The little nozzle that screws into the resevoir doesnt have a tight seal at first and will drip, no matter how tight you tighten it. There is a rubber washer that fits in between, but it doesnt really work as a gasket. I just used super glue, since i dont really see why it would ever need to be removed, and it works great. The pump and tubes that come with fit around the nozzle, so thats not a problem if i ever decide to use that.Other than that the tray is fantastic. It has plenty of room, and I can easily fit three vessels and three pitchers, as well as two tea pets. I am very happy with this tray so far, and I like the design. As with all trays, it will have an odor at first from whatever they finish it with, but it goes away.

I have purchased all three tea sets offered by Ufine on Amazon. I have found all three of them to be of very high quality. They look just like the pictures. I had previously purchased this set and it arrived damaged. I received a refund from Amazon and emailed Ufine to provide constructive feedback. I received an immediate response from Ufine thanking me and letting me know that they were aware of the issue and had upgraded there packaging to prevent damage. I reordered the tea set and received it in perfect condition thanks to the new packaging as you can see in the picture. I had inadvertently left feedback on the old tea set instead of the new set, so I am redoing my review. What I really like about this tea set is that you don't have to worry about holding a very small, expensive, and hot teapot upside down to pour out your tea. When I use traditional Chinese teapots, I worry about the lid slipping out of my hand and breaking, or burning myself with boiling water. This tea set solves both of these problems with it's ingenious yet simple design. You simply pour your water into the top, steep your tea, then rotate the teapot on it's base 90 degrees to line up the holes on the base with the bottom of the pot, and the tea flows into the tea collector. It's a beautiful set that's made to use and it's much easier to use than the small, traditional Chinese teapots. It's a very nice set to own and use, at a good price, with excellent customer service and product support from Ufine. They are a great seller and very responsive to customer concerns and inquiries. If you are looking for a nice, easy to use, and affordable tea set, this is the one for you. It's worth every penny.
