Had to return this one and get the 9' cable. Still need to install motor but it functions well and it looks like its going to be a pretty good fit. Don't get anything longer than a 9' for your 13 whaler.

I replaced an older model of the same manufacturer, and they have improved the mounting and performance, it works very smooth and precise. Very easy to assemble and mount.

Slight mode required to counsel to replace original helm.Work extremely well.Prompt delivery.Looks & operates greatIt's never easy to climb in the water to get under the boat to feed the cable from motor to helm ....Let's hope that it holds up for a few years

So far it's doing what it should do, it steers my boat. I had to cut the dash to make the helm fit. It came with everything that was needed to install. After lubricating the cable, it works easy and smooth

Product description clearly states the helm bezel is included, but it wasn't. Got the cable and helm installed only to discover the bezel was missing... that means no boating tomorrow. Huge disappointment.
