I wear low cut socks every day...when exercising, use them as slippers in hotel rooms, even sleep in them because I don't like trying to find my slippers when I get up in the middle of the night. (TMI!) The brand I was using wore out and I couldn't get my size anymore from them. So, I found u&1's socks which were priced very attractively for the 6 pack. I bought them for size and price, but I was pleasantly surprised to find how well made they are. These are substantial and the best I've had. The soles are thick and cushioned. The toe is comfortable. Sizing was as expected. They are even finished very nicely around the ankle with firm elastic and a knit tab to pull the socks up around your heel when you're wearing shoes. They are snug in my running shoes but not tight. Overall, highly recommended. A pleasant surprise after taking the risk to switch brands.

I've tried so many different brands of socks on Amazon looking for a pair that is quality, comfortable, reasonably priced, and nice looking. These socks are 80%+ cotton so they breath well, are somewhat insulated in the winter but are also sweat absorbing in the summer. I've had them for about two months now and they seem durable, with no signs of wear. They are great on long runs. I've bought multiple packs since to replace all of the other garbage socks I've got from Amazon in the past.

First, you should know I am female and wear women's size 10/11 shoe. Women's socks always feel super tight and claustrophobic. Have been on the hunt, have tried extended sizes/both men and women's socks. Nothing was helping. So I decided to try these.First.... the must run very small because I ordered the 8-12 size and swear it just exactly fit my foot and felt tight at the toe.But I really REALLY loved the way they felt and supported my high arch. So decided to try the 12-15 size.OMG!!! Let me tell you, I am so in love with the way these feel. How I cannot really feel I'm wearing them, they are not tight at all. Cushioned heel is great.I am going to splurge and buy more before they stop selling them. Love the look of them. So I bought the Grey & the Charcoal Mix. They just look cozy. However I will probably get the White & Black ones just to have.I recommend these 500% but only in 12-15 size. Could just be me. I don't like socks making me feel like I need to get out of them because my feet can't breathe, if that makes sense.

These U&I socks are nice and I think they will fit most feet. The thick, ribbed band at the top of the back of the heel is very convenient to hold on to. The socks have not slipped down while I have been wearing them. The socks do not fold or pinch as my shoes go on. The toes are very nicely finished. And the socks, while nicely cushioned where needed, are also nicely vented to help keep hot feet cool.The problem I have with the socks is the amount of stretch. I am comparing them to similar top-end Allen Edmonds socks that I have owned and wanted more of--but the style is no longer available. The Allen Edmonds socks are very closely sized, with just enough stretch. Thus, the AE socks go on very easily over my wide toes (EEE shoe size). They do not catch on my little toe. The U&I socks catch between my third and fourth toes every time I put them on. This is irritating, but pretty easy to reach down and fix. As I get older, flexibility gets to be a significant issue. For those who have trouble pulling socks onto wide feet, you might need an aid, like a bent piece of coat hanger wire to stretch the sock out before you pull it on, then pull the wire out.
