What a rip off! This is not a lighted sign,60 bucks for a fake exit sign. There is one picture on the ad that shows the exit sign glowing green, which is totally misleading and a flat out lie, and you people at Amazon recommended this to me.

Very lightweight and mounts easily. It is very visible from across the warehouse in the dark. Nice that there are covers for the arrows you don't use. Really is a good product.

If you have a business or a church or a large public building there are rules and regulations about exits and how those need to be signed. This sign seems to be compliant with many of those regulations and the directions give you some guidelines about where to place the sign in reference to the exit and the charge light. The plastic exit cut-out has a Photoluminescent insert that charges by regular light. The light that is charging it needs to be within 5 feet of the sign, then if there is a power outage or if the lights are off at night the exit sign will glow in the dark and still be visible. This sign has can be hung four different ways, so it should work in most situations. There is a track on each side and on the top. Then there is a bracket that you can put on a wall or ceiling and then attach the sign to the bracket using the appropriate track so that they sign will face the way you want. The back plate also pops off so if you don't want to use one of the side or top tracks you can just screw the back plate flat against the wall and then pop the front of the sign back onto the back plate. There are 3 inserts to cover the openings left by the unused top and side inserts and two chevron inserts in case you don't want one or both of the directional chevron arrows. They seem to have thought of most everything with this sign. I don't know how other exit signs compare, but this one seems pretty good.

The Jessup Glo Brite Exit sign is a nice sign, but the sign may not work in all circumstances. For us, we work in warehouse environment that is rather dark most of the time. The sign needs a certain amount of lumens to work, the only area of the warehouse that had more than 40 lumens was the office section. Other than that, it is a nice sign, the install was easy. The Jessup Glo Brite has several install options including ceiling mount or wall mount. All in all, happy with the sign.

This is quite the sign. The EXIT really shows up in low/no light situations and clearly points the way out. Easy to mount too.

I purchased these exit signs to replace some 25-year old incandescent signs in an older part of our church. Yes, they're a bit more expensive than your standard exit sign, but they require no electricity. As we renovate & expand, our plan is to use these in place of incandescent exit signs in an effort to reduce energy usage, as we've seen no degradation in quality.
