I use this for a super bright led light in my shop that hangs from the ceiling. It adjusts nicely and holds its place no matter when I position it. And far better than I ever held a light for my dad.

THOROUGHLY satisfied. Check this out: I bought this one, and a white one from Selens, which was absolutely terrible. Despite having composite hardware (plastic) the Ulanzi has outlived its compatriot from Selens (which broke after less than 1 week!).I’m already a huge fan of Ulanzi, so I’m not surprised that this product holds up to their quality and budget norms. Definitely worth it, buying at least one more to replace the broken one.The only reason I did 4 stars is that I wish Ulanzi made multiple sizes. Oh and the composite hardware. I feel like it would be even stronger with steel. But yeah, I would FOR SURE buy a 5’ or 6’ model. Impact makes one, sold out on Amazon I’ll have to get it on B&H. (Selens makes one too, but you’ll NEVER see me buying ANYTHING from that company again)GO TEAM ULANZI!!!

ULANZI TB25 Ring Light Wall Mount Triangle Boom Arm 51inch/130cm, Save Space Angle Flexible Rotation for Studio Photography Studio Video Light, Monolight, Photography, Softbox, Reflector(4.26ft)no complaints. this solves a problem i have seen in similar mounts. the knob to tighten the angle arm on some have small knobs, this one has a large handle. this angle connection is the one you have to tighten the most as it determines whether your light stays at the horizontal height you set it at. in other words, if this joint is not properly tightened the lamp can creep down and bop someone in the head or worse break your lamp. (i know what i said). anyway, nice stout beefy handle for this joint. the extension joint is a normalish knob, which doesnt hurt my feelings at all. the back plate you mount to the wall seems maybe a bit bigger than similar entries. i think this is a solid robust piece of equipment for heavier cobb style photography and video type lights.
