I purchased two of these for two different horses. Either one of them lasted 24hours.One just disappeared, he got it off and it was gone, not sure if it was in one piece or what.The other was still on the horse, but the nose screen was gone. And seeing as I purchased them to try and protect their white noses from the sun, it was rendered useless.

This is a bit tighter than some other fly masks which (so far) he hasn’t been able to remove or twist around. He’s 15.3hh and normally wears a 78 turnout. This fly mask was horse size, I didn’t think he’d like the “skirt” over the nose. I also didn’t think it would make any difference with flies or the sun. Wrong on both counts! The nose piece doesn’t bother him at all, nor interferes with grazing or drinking. Flies (abundant right now) aren’t bothering him there. The added plus is it protects his pink nose from the sun. I normally have to apply and reapply zinc oxide but now I only have to do that periodically. It’s put together well. I did have to reattach the skirt after he apparently stepped on hit, but that was an east fix and it’s in good shape otherwise.

It really helped my mare not get a sunburn on her pink muzzle. It lasted a whopping 12 days.I ordered another one and removed what I thought she ripped it on. Fingers crossed

thought these were going to be durable and unable to be removed by the horses. WRONG. they didn't even last 24 to 48 hours being worn before they were off, and one was ripped.

Fits a standard horse great. Love it! My only wish the mesh was slightly less see through to protect that pink nose. Item is as advertised though and great! I’d buy again.

They mesh around the eye is too big in my opinion.

I always liked the spandex type fly masks, but my boy has a pink nose and musty have the nose cover or he will burn in the AZ sun. He's a short but stout Mustang with a regular horse sized head, got the L/Full size and it's a perfect fit as long as it doesn't stretch too much. Just put it on him today, we'll see how long it lasts with his Thoroughbred neighbors who like to rip off masks.

I liked this fly mask because it’s roomy and doesn’t leave an indent. However both of my geldings (one who is 28 and barely moves) ripped these within a week.
