So ivwasbt sure sonce in two cases of it'd be a capacity of 25 cards each or 50 each. It was able to hold 100 cards for both ( 1 order). The plastic is pretty thick. 2 of my 8 orders were cracked upon opening. I'm thinking this may be due to them being sent in a bubble mailer instead of an actual box. I'm not going to sweat it though this was on sale for less than $2 each so it's cool.

I got this to hold a 50 card set of football cards. There is sooo much extra room that the cards flip around in there. I’m guessing this holds 60-70 cards. Great quality for sure but if you are looking to hold only 50 cards it is too big

I've used these cases for years and love them. They're well made and consistently high quality. I've found that TCG cards in exact fit sleeves fit comfortably in these boxes so they've become a go to for storage.Note: when ordering multiple cases, Amazon tends to just throw them in a box with no padding or protection. My last order arrived with a few of them cracked at the corners. Just take a close look when you receive them to be sure they're not broken.

Bought these as deck holders for my Arkham LCG card game but they can't hold sleeved cards and they're now mildly expensive name-card holders sitting on my desk.

Firstly, I want to acknowledge that the seller here has done nothing wrong. This issue is not the seller's fault, it falls squarely into the lap of the manufacturer Ultra Pro.I was hugely disappointed with this case. I have purchased multiple other clear acrylic Ultra Pro deck boxes, but they were the larger capacity boxes (eg: 100+ and 200+ card count). Each of those larger boxes has internal dimensions (length and width) that has a little bit of wiggle room allowing for sleeved cards (even "premium" sleeves which are thicker and therefore also slightly taller and wider than cheaper sleeves) to be stored with no issue. Having purchased and used many of these larger deck boxes with no problem in the past I had no hesitation in purchasing this 50 count box to store some smaller sets of sleeved cards. They don't fit!! The internal dimensions of the 50 counts box (and I am sad to report the 25 count box that I purchased from another source) are such that the sleeved cards will not lay in the box. They just can't get past the side walls. This is a really ridiculous situation, Ultra Pro should know better than to change the dimensions of its products in a specific range like that.

I read a lot of reviews on this card case and I really needed to set the record straight with an actual answer IN NUMBERS.Being sized for trading cards, the case holds more than a standard playing card deck. I comfortably put 73 playing cards into the case. With the case open, lightly brushing my hand across the top I could knock out one card. I think an ideal number of playing cards is 70 to be sure your precious cards are protected. If this is the under-the-coffee-table-set, go ahead and jam in a few more. Probably a max of 75 before the lid starts to lift a little. But then you still have some give because in this box, the sides go the full height of the box. That was a key selling point for me.I shot a couple of photos just to make it more clear. There is an open box photo showing both 55 cards and 73 cards. I again shot the case with the box closed containing the same quantities. For the record, this case is sized damn near exact to a trading card and a playing card is not too far off in size, just thinner. So it will not fit cards in protective sleeves or even the light mylar bags. Additionally this will not fit a playing card deck in its packaging. You could push the deck into the case, but it would not look right and it would be a pain to shake out of there again.Hope this helps someone. I know I would have liked this info when I was reading dozens of reviews that said "It kinda fits a deck of playing cards, maybe a little more."I am ordering several more of these now to display my various decks around the house. At the price, they cannot be beat. Now I just need to but a large one to store all of my empty card packaging!
