I currently have 3 uses for this tarp:1. Throwing it over the driver's seat when driving home after a day at the beach.2. As a "doormat" when hammocking.3. Protecting the pile of firewood when camping.It absolutely shines in all 3 roles. You can also use it as a gear sling/shelf alongside a hammock.

I've had this for 2 1/2 months, used in a few times, and washed it in a washing machine once. Here's what I can tell you:It is extremely lightweight, which I love; I attach the stuffsack to the exterior of my backpack and I don't even know its there.It seems durable. I've been putting it down on dirt trails with small rocks sticking out of them. On top of them is either my butt on one side and my backpack on the other, or I will use it as a placemat for my dogs to eat their jerky sticks on if they are joining me on a hike. After 3 or 4 uses, and one wash, no tears or fraying noticed.Once when eating lunch I dripped some of the dressing from the sandwich on it... it sat there for a couple of days; then I put some SprayNWash on it and ran it in the laundry: although it came out nice and clean, the stain from the dressing oil/mayo remained. The stain doesn't bother me, but just noting that it will stain to sandwich spills.As far as putting it back in the stuff sack, which was my major concern prior to purchase (I hate when stuff sacks are so small that one has to fold an item precisely one way to make it fit back inside it), I can tell you it is extremely easy: I found the quickest way is to fold it in half lengthwise twice, and then one more fold by thirds; then do a couple of folds in the opposite direction, and then roll it up..... very quick, and it always fits.There is a pocket in one corner; I'm not exactly what the intention of that pocket is for given that it doesn't have a zipper/closure. My guess is that if one wanted to carry stakes that it is meant to put them in, but really I have no idea.As for size, like I said, you can either put two peoples buts on it, or you can put a butt one side and a backpack on the other.

I bought this to take on a trip abroad. It is lightweight and durable. If I was out hiking and needed to rest, it was the perfect ground cover.

This light weight tarp is to stuff into a jacket pocket or backpack. Walk walk every morning from our home to a picnic bench - about two miles. When we get to the bench it is either covered in wet dew or mist from the ocean. The tarp is the perfect solution - just right for two people to sit side by side. We have two, so we rotate while one is drying. Very pleased as we tried several that claimed waterproof - but were not. This tarp IS WATERPROOF.

I received my tarp a couple of days ago and I have already used it twice! I put it down on my car seat for my son who had just gone swimming. It kept my seats nice and dry. Also, I used it to protect my pants from the dirty bleachers at a baseball game. I do hike, backpack and snowshoe so it will be coming with me the next time I go. It is light weight and sturdy. It also looks good!!! It packs away in a small sack and there is even enough room for a phone or keys in case those things need to stay dry. This will be kept in my car at all times just in case. Great Product!

Exactly what I was looking for. Really is ultra thin / light, but blocks any water from getting through and is also really durable. Super easy to slip in your bag / purse or back pocket, and folds up fast and easy into a nice, neat little pouch. So far I've used it on the beach, taking a break hiking, at a music concert (with damp grass) and in public places where the ground looks too dirty for sitting. I like the design and it's the perfect size to fit two people for sitting. I've already had people asking where I got it. Couldn't be happier. Thinking about using these as stocking stuffers for the holidays. Perfect for people who live in snowy areas, or anywhere where it rains a lot and you need a place to sit down when you're out and about.
