Great transmission for a portal axle based LCG crawler. This thing works great! It's nice and compact as well which is a bonus. I'll be looking at these Cobra Crawler transmission for all my future custom builds now.

This alloy anodized aluminum & carbon fiber transmission is well made, nice finish, bearings, metal gear, & hardware is provided. I need to do future testing & see how well it will hold up. I have to admit the company name Cobra crawler is pretty cool. Equally as cool is the transmission that they have here. It is a ultralight portal transmission and it lives up to its name. It is also very small which makes it fit easily into many places. Everything is made of metal which will help with its durability. It is priced decently so it is a great value for your money. It is a nice and smooth transmission as well.

The listing doesn't lie; this portal transmission is extremely lightweight; and the cnc machine finish is superb! Made with a high quality finish and real carbon fiber mounting and cover plates. If you want to add some no-slop precision machined, lightweight parts to your next comp crawler; look no further than CobraCrawler. Recommended for high quality and smooth operation; I'll definitely be keeping my eyes out for other custom parts made from this manufacturer.
